The narrative is set two hours before the universe-altering Tournament of Power. Goku has assembled nine warriors for Universe 7's team, but they are one member short. While Vegeta panics, Lord Beerus and Whis reveal they have a specific tenth member in mind: Guest. At that moment, Guest is suddenly teleported into their presence. Vegeta is immediately unimpressed, scoffing and judging Guest as too 'scrawny' to be of any use. Guest is the final, unexpected recruit for the most important battle of their lives.
Characters
This scene features several key characters. Goku is an energetic fighter who has gathered the team but can be a bit thoughtless. Vegeta is the proud and arrogant Prince of Saiyans; he is quick to anger, insults others, and judges people harshly based on their appearance. Lord Beerus is the God of Destruction, who appears calm and in control of the situation. Whis is Beerus's polite and knowledgeable angelic attendant. Krillin is another team member who is sensitive about his stature.
