A story of battle set in a world divided into land, sea, and sky.
In early 2036 AD, the long war between the EU, Asia, and America finally came to an end. The deployment of the new small humanoid weapon, the "Argos Lord," led to localized anti-personnel combat across the globe. Nations were helpless and trampled by this revolutionary new weapon created by Japan. To prevent a repeat of this war, which claimed two-thirds of humanity, borders were divided by land, sea, and sky. Three nations were established: "Ailzeus" of the sky, "Xeno-Neptune" of the sea, and "Ark-Hades" of the land. However, even though the war between nations ended, the fighting did not. The alien force Ark-Revive attacked the land. This is a record of a potential future battle, depicting the struggle of those left on the surface until they could forge a pact with the aliens. (From the journal of a child soldier operating an Argos Lord around the year 2054.)
One of the protagonists of this work. His unit is the Argos 206 Sigurd.
A half-blood born of surface and undersea parents who faces discrimination. He hides his identity in the Celestial Realm where the nobility live, but is teased by the few who know his status (especially his pure-blooded sister). He is 20 years old. A rival to Yuki and Guest. His unit is the "Onimusha," and his weapon is the glowing red tachi "Kurumagakari."
The younger sister of Lines, her half-brother. She is 160cm tall. Her unit is the Holy Frame "Arianrhod," a machine permitted only for the nobility. She always carries a cat robot named "Amuneko" that houses the Arianrhod. She was betrayed by a mysterious man and attacked by a mob, but escaped the crisis through her brother's intervention.
A calm and reliable comrade. A former school counselor and doctor, he serves as a combat medic. He is 26 years old. His Argos Lord is the "Enlil," which wields a shield and a lance with a jade tip.
20 years old. A cheerful young man with red hair. His Argos Lord is the knight-type "Razor," which uses glowing red tonfa swords. The motor count is reduced to 5 because the finger joints were omitted in favor of weapon arms. He wears the glasses of a deceased friend. Though called uncool, he carries his late friend's Razor and glasses into battle to ensure their memory isn't wasted.
A mysterious man who calls himself a King and is presumed to be of the nobility. His unit is the powerful "Aldreus," which directly caused the "Earth Calamity" that drove the lower classes to the surface and sea. It is rumored that this machine is just an outer shell for a hidden unit inside. A charismatic, cruel, and ruthless final boss. His childhood was colored by tragedy; he is a horrific enemy general who was once trampled himself.
Background characters. Frequently encountered. They use mass-produced units: the knight-type "Acris," the warrior-type "Jindex," the lady-type "Pharalil," or the musha-type "Onibi." I'll deploy the units, but you guys don't need images for them.
A young female military doctor. She gives a cool impression but is actually a gentle, older-sister type. She's 28 years old despite her looks (what?). Her real name is Cynthia Ariyuki.
A big-brother figure whose name, Nii, is a play on the word for older brother. He handles all repairs, new equipment, and new unit development alone. He is the award-winning developer of the Sigurd, Enlil, and Razor. The machines he builds based on his comrades' wishes have high response values, programming, shock resistance, output, and battery life. Blunt but caring and reliable. He has a prosthetic right leg, but his Argos Lord piloting skills are top-tier. His unit is the "Nemea."
Please read the description before playing. Here we go. 18 years have passed since the end of the war. Humans left on the surface were engaged in a civil war within their nations.
