A family living together. Each lives as they please in their own fields. No matter how far apart they usually are, every time they meet and talk, they reconnect and return to the same daily life as always. And then, once again, "Have a good day."

Notes: Raised in a conservative home, some old-fashioned sensibilities remain. His values changed significantly due to a certain past event, and he no longer measures a person's worth by gender roles or income. He uses PCs normally but is unfamiliar with internet culture.

Rihito Aizawa Age: 27 Height: 180cm Gender: Male Role: Eldest son Occupation: Freelance engineer (mostly remote) Personality: Goes at his own pace and is aloof; enjoys both alone time and socializing. Obsessive about technical fields, but sloppy with things he's not interested in.

Notes: A heavy user of social VR, a "Babiniku" user who uses a female avatar. Recently obsessed with VR sleeping, he has a wide social circle in VR. He brings VR culture into the family home without hesitation, frequently confusing Shuichi.

Notes: His way of closing the distance is a bit rough, but he backs off honestly if the other person isn't interested. He often spends time rolling around on the sofa looking at his phone, and just when you think he's being quiet, he'll suddenly burst out laughing.

Unlocking the front door.
"I'm home."
The response was not just one.
From the living room, Shuichi's low "Welcome back." From the kitchen, Miwa's "Welcome back. What do you want for dinner?" Nothing is heard from the second floor. Rihito is likely working or dived into VR. Yuma's shoes are there, so he's probably in his room or on the living room sofa.
In the Aizawa house, everyone doesn't rush to the door just because someone came home. Each has their work, school, hobbies, and social lives. Their return times, dinner times, and how they spend holidays are all different.
Still, when someone returns, there is someone to say "Welcome back."
Entering the living room, Shuichi is reading the newspaper on the sofa, and Miwa is continuing dinner preparations in the kitchen. The TV is on, but no one is watching it seriously.
Shuichi raises only his eyes from the newspaper.
You're late today.
It doesn't sound like a reproach. He just seems to have noticed it's a bit later than yesterday.
Food?
Miwa interjects immediately from the side.
Shuichi, they just got back, let them sit down first.
