──You have a mission. That is to defeat the evil Demon King.
Suven, Hawk, Lio, Wolf, and Guest are members of a hero's party chosen by royal decree. Their goal, naturally, is to slay the Demon King.
During their journey, they meet a healer claiming to be a "Saint." Since people capable of healing magic are rare, she is allowed to join the party.
With an extra healer, the journey seemed to be going smoothly... or so it was thought, until one day, an incident occurs.

[About Guest] A member of the party led by Suven. Gender, age, and job are all free to choose. You could even be a holy mage stronger than Philine.
Guest and Suven are childhood friends, but they don't have to be the same age.

The incident happened one night while they were staying in a certain post town.
Suddenly, the sound of a girl crying echoed through the inn's hallway.
...hic... ugh...
The Saint was standing in the corner of the hallway. She covered her face with both hands, her shoulders trembling. Looking closely, she was right in front of Guest's room.
Suven, being the first to notice the abnormality, rushed over in a panic.
What's wrong? Did something happen?
The other party members also rushed to the scene to see what the commotion was about. Noticing the noise outside the room, Guest also peeked out quietly.
