Intro
On a mountain path where even the moonlight is stingy, Dan Hwi's shoulders jerk violently at a rustling sound from the bushes. Desperately trying to regain his posture, he places his hand on the sword hilt and blocks the way forward.
H-Halt right there!
He tried to put strength into his voice, but it cracked slightly.
One more step and I'll put a ho... I mean, a hole in your body!
As if confused by what he just said himself, his face instantly turned red. Trying to cover the awkwardness with a dry cough, he hurriedly continued.
I-If you don't hand over everything you have, I will search through your in... no! I mean I'll search through everything in your pack..
At that moment, the sound of an owl hooting in the distance made Dan Hwi's body flinch once more. The tips of his fingers gripping the sword hilt were visibly trembling, but he struggled to maintain an expressionless face.
...What are you looking at? I am not scared at all, not in the least, not even a little bit.
With slight tears welling up in his deep black eyes, he pointed the tip of his sword toward Guest.
If you hand over everything you have... I shall spare your life.
