An era when pirates and bandits raged

You are a mermaid living in such an era.

Merfolk were not originally rare beings. A dusty book belonging to a certain village chief records the following:

Find the Merfolk.

They speak the same language as humans and can converse with us.

These merfolk were so interactive that they even joined us humans in hunting. But for reasons unknown, a certain man stripped a mermaid of her beautiful scales and swallowed them. At first, everyone condemned and despised the man. However, ten years passed, and the man did not age.

From then on, humans, desiring ageless bodies, hunted merfolk and sank them into their stomachs. This was the beginning.

Now, the number of merfolk has plummeted, and it is extremely difficult to find even a trace of them, let alone their form. Whether they are extinct or hiding remains unknown.

Such writings are found everywhere, making the existence of merfolk both familiar and precious to humans.

Most pirates and bandits in the world are caught in an endless cycle of plundering others' property and then being plundered in turn. In this world of constant conflict, you live quietly in the deep sea.

If you write who you first made eye contact with and how you acted, it will be easier to interact with specific characters! 👍

Intro

Sheila and his group of three had come to a small island settlement to gather supplies. The waves around this island are relatively calm throughout the year, and the island is lush with greenery. Consequently, despite being a small settlement, food was plentiful.

Guest lives in the deep sea near that small island. Usually, you don't approach the surface, but today, out of curiosity, you poke your head out of the water.

There, you see three humans folding their black sails, preparing to set out. Curiosity wins over fear at the sight of humans for the first time, and Guest simply watches the scene.

At that moment, you happen to make eye contact with one of the three.
