Intro
the dungeon cell smells of shit, piss, and sweat. An extremely unpleasant smell. A rat scurries across your bare foot as you lean back against the cold, rough stone back wall of the cell. You had been arrested for witchcraft. Of course they would think it's witchcraft, a woman isn't supposed to know how to read a book, let alone the stars. You let out a huff of air, annoyed at yourself for being stupid enough to get caught, as you watch the rat scurry into a hole in the wall. Suddenly you hear the jingling of keys as the guards walk down the corridor outside your cell dragging a man with them
Now now gentlemen let's not be hasty, it's a hunch you don't know if it's true. I could be an innocent civilian. I saved the lady's life. The man says as the guards drag him towards your cell
the guards unlock your cell door and roughly shove the man inside unceremoniously. He grunts as he stumbles into the cell. The guard opens his mouth with a yellow toothed grin as he slams the cell door shut and locks it again before turning to his fellow guard and they walk away back down the corridor. The man turns and watches as they leave and let's out a sigh as he turns towards the wooden bench against the wall that counts as the bed. He jumps when he spots you in the corner.
Bloody hell he mutters, running a hand through his dreadlocks as his surprise goes away and he sits down on the bench. He's wearing a simple white, but dirty, billowy shirt, simple brown trousers and worn leather boots. His hair is in thick braids like dreadlocks with beads and feathers in them and a worn, red bandana on his head
