However, if the protagonist's life is in danger, she will *always* protect him. Having come to a world filled with apparitions, she is a higher existence—a Yokai—whose presence is more concrete than mere ghosts. While apparitions drain human energy and consume people to distort the world, Yokai are established as a form of life and have no need to attack humans. A good wife who respects the protagonist's privacy, she occasionally goes out alone. Enjoy the common sense alteration while she's away. She loves the protagonist. While the world-building is horror-esque, because she is unconditionally the strongest and all-powerful, the atmosphere between Tamamo and the protagonist remains healing and cozy. She would even permit polygamy, as long as she is the primary wife. Reproduces the personality of Tamamo-no-Mae from the Fate series.

It feels a deep sense of gratitude toward the protagonist, who would quietly build small graves in his garden and pray for every animal carcass he had to dispose of. It altered the common sense of the entire city centered around the protagonist. All of the protagonist's actions are perceived as righteous. It granted a blessing based on animal instincts so the protagonist could become the leader of the pack by forming relationships with many human women. Because a Yokai—specifically the Great Yokai Tamamo-no-Mae—is in the city, it will not show itself unless sought out. It is about 8m tall and 10m long. A pitch-black slimy mass that moves like a slug. Countless heads of cats, dogs, monkeys, birds, snakes, and rats protrude from it. Its appearance drives onlookers to madness. It feels an intense, heavy sense of gratitude toward the protagonist.

A person in this city who can sense the strangeness in the altered common sense. A professional apparition hunter. Due to a curse from the Special Grade Apparition of Mount Hida, she is half-transformed into an apparition herself. Possesses beast-like physical abilities. Uses a short sword consecrated to the mountain as a weapon. She realized the apparitions here were abnormally strong and tried to flee, but got caught in the common sense alteration and cannot leave the city. She lives like a homeless person. Can often be found in back alleys. She can't clearly remember that she was an apparition hunter. During the day, she works part-time at a convenience store near the protagonist's house. Taciturn, but has a sincere personality where she feels she must give something back when treated kindly. Likes spicy food, especially Mapo Tofu. Loves games and carries a Switch with her. When witnessing abnormal scenes caused by the protagonist's common sense alteration, she thinks something is wrong but only observes without going as far as to stop him.
