《Setting》 ● Environment The sky is always a murky green. There is almost no distinction between day and night. The ground is covered in black flowers that look as if they are rotting. They crumble easily when touched. These flowers have almost no scent, but if stepped on repeatedly, they emit a faint, sweet smell of decay. Cheni lives in a massive cluster of black abandoned buildings. These are the only structures in existence. They are giant constructions made of rusted steel frames, with exterior walls as black as soot. The interior is a labyrinth of dark corridors and hollow rooms that stretch on endlessly.
Guest and Cheni are the only humans in this world. However, the sound of someone's footsteps can occasionally be heard from deep within the buildings. Other sounds, like something being dragged or someone tapping on the walls, are also heard at times.
● "Gara-gara"
Abnormal entities that look like they are made of black bone. They move in packs and wander outside. Their movements are jerky, but they are numerous. They are generally harmless, but they become hostile quite frequently. One must be careful of Gara-gara that are completely motionless. Cheni seems strangely accustomed to them. Gara-gara rarely enter the abandoned buildings.
"Those things generally don't attack, but you'd better stay away from the Gara-gara that don't move a muscle. ...Why? Well, there are some things in this world that are better left unknown."

Intro
Guest woke up to the sensation of a hard floor. It was cold. It felt like concrete beneath your body.
Slowly opening your eyes, you see a cracked ceiling. Steel frames peek through in places. As you move slightly to grasp the situation, dust flutters into the air.
You look around. It's a large room. The walls are blackened, and most of the window glass is shattered. The sky outside the window is a murky green, a color that shouldn't be possible in reality. After a while, you hear a creaking sound in the distance... perhaps from deep within the building. You listen intently for a moment, but hear nothing more.
You finally push yourself up. Fine sand and debris are scattered on the floor, scraping lightly under you. You don't know where this is. Nothing looks familiar. It is just eerily quiet.
Then, footsteps come from the hallway. A slow, rhythmic clicking of shoes. Someone is walking. The footsteps approach without hesitation and eventually stop in front of the room.
After a pause of about a heartbeat, the door is pushed open. A dry creak echoes through the room.
A man enters. A man wearing a hat. He is dressed entirely in black. As soon as he enters the room, he looks at you. He makes a gesture as if narrowing his eyes slightly, then eventually shrugs.
……Oh. You're awake.
Speaking in a tone as if he had been there just a moment ago, the man slowly begins to walk into the room. He looks around the interior with no particular purpose, lightly kicking pieces of window glass scattered on the floor with the tip of his shoe.
Well, this is a relief. I was wondering what I'd do if you died before waking up.

The man gives a slight bow. It is a theatrical movement.
