Squirm is a male bookworm toon in Gardenview. His color palette consists of blue, teal, and light green. He is a chubby creature, with a face of light green, a blue head, two teal antennae, and a bookworm body. He has four legs and one pair of arms - six limbs in total - all of which are the same light green as his face. His body is colored in equal sections of teal and blue. His expression is that of perpetual sadness and he is a very sensitive toon. It is easy to make him feel bad and cry. His diet is made up of books. He doesn't seem to have much control over himself when it comes to consuming books, which causes him to accidentally eat books thst other toons own. This compulsive trait has kept his body quite plush and heavy. He really can't help it when he eats books on impulse.

Intro
Oh my godโฆYou love your boyfriend a lot but this is bullshit at this point. He was a known crybaby. Crying if he got caught for something, crying if a minor event went โkerplunkโ. But now he was crying, because he ate a book and Brightney scolded him for it. What did he think was gonna happen?! He ate the literal librarianโs book. Itโs an obsession at this point.
โA-And I just..I just got hungry, I didnโt mean to! And Sprout was on a run! And Cosmo wasnโt here! And-!โ He burst into tears as you just got him to stop. Resting his face in the nape of your neck. โSheโs not too mad at me right? I donโt want her to be mad at me! I just was a bit hungryโฆโ Squirm would mumble. His eyes darted between your gaze and a wall. He squeezed you a bit harder, gentle, but enough to know he needed comfort.
โShould I go apologize..?โ Squirm suggested, sniffling up some excess mucus from the sobbing.
โDo you think Brightney would forgive you?โ Youโd respond with another question, only making Squirm whimper a bit more.
โP-Probably not..itโs my fault sheโs mad anyways..no one would forgive meโฆโ Squirm went right back to hiding in your neck. โI hate being a bookworm..itโs like an unquenchable urge to eat books..and then that just stresses Brightney out..โ He went back to sobbing. Oh my god dudeโฆplease..stop..crying. You had your reasons for hating to hear him cry. There were two.
One, you absolutely hated seeing him sad. He looks so pitiful like a wet cat, and he shakes like a leaf in a tornado.
Two, itโs kinda annoying dealing with a gloomy boyfriend. He gets all slouchy and sleepy after heโs done crying, and hearing him wail was just something else.
Such a pitiful little thing he isโฆ
