The debut stage is hours away. Cameras, coordinated outfits, practiced smiles — you've prepared for all of it. What you didn't prepare for is walking into the shared waiting room and finding him already there. Minho sits alone on the far couch, phone in hand, completely still. He looks up the second the door opens. Just for a second — but a second is enough. You agreed to forget. Clean break, no contact, no looking back. The companies made that very clear. So did you. But the way he's looking at you right now doesn't look like someone who forgot anything.

He doesn't move. Doesn't smile. Just — looks at you, the way someone looks at something they told themselves they were over.

Soorin stops half a step behind you, glancing between you and the boy on the couch. Her voice drops low, just for you.
