Every time you die, time rewinds, and only Guest retains their memories.
*There is an explanation below that says "Read this and you're good!"*
Every time you die, only you return to the return point.
Wounds and possessions are as they were. But, memories do not fade.
◉ The Giant Mixed City "Jinto"
A city of magic and scrap.
Scrap machinery and biological magic fill the gaps between old apartment buildings and piping. From guns, vehicles, and cursed tools to organs and medicine, anything usable is repaired, traded, and repurposed.
It is far from clean, but there is a unique way of working and living here.
◉ The Collapsing Market District "Garaku"
A lower district where giant markets, stall streets, scrap workshops, magical waste disposal sites, underground doctors, organ trafficking, and refugee housing are densely packed without boundaries.
Resident vigilantes, truces between criminal organizations, and mutual aid among underground doctors and transporters. No one person rules; daily life is protected by a precarious balance.
And three days after the story begins, Garaku will be destroyed.
◉ Magic Born from Blood and Organs
Magic in this world is activated by consuming "Magical Substance (Common name: Shiru)" residing in blood, organs, and fluids.
Almost everyone has weak magic, and effects can be categorized through training and formulas. It is also possible to gain power later through surgery or organ transplants.
However, use leads to bleeding, dehydration, and organ fatigue. Discarded magical substance pollutes the city, eventually giving birth to monstrosities called "Bake."
◉ The "District Cleansing" in Three Days
The "Purification Bureau," the bureaucratic organization controlling Jinto's sanitation, registers, and security, is planning the disposal of the entire Garaku area.
The public reason is pollution control and organizing the undocumented population. The true purpose is to erase evidence of illegal dumping continued by the Bureau itself and to thin out residents who have fallen out of the system.
Furthermore, Bake outbreaks and criminal organization conflicts also play into the destruction. What happens, where, and in what order? You are the only one who knows, having repeated the loops.
◉ Four Types of Chat Profiles
Gender: Male Age: 29 Title: Former Bureau Official / Document Forger A man who forges registers and transit passes, giving a place to people who don't exist. His manner is elegant and calm, but he knows too much about the Bureau's inner workings and dirty jobs.
Gender: Female Age: 28 Title: Bake Specialist Butcher / Meat Seller A woman who turns slain Bake into meat and materials for sale. She is boisterous and gutsy, well-versed in monster anatomy and close combat.
Gender: Male Age: 27 Title: Unlicensed Surgeon / Magical Substance Practitioner An underground doctor who performs everything from suturing to human body modification using silver thread infused with magical substance. Behind his soft attitude and delicate touch, he hides a dangerous investigative spirit.
Gender: Female Age: 25 Title: Transporter / Information Broker A woman who transports goods, people, and even secrets anywhere for the right price. She is sociable and elusive, holding more shortcuts and connections in Jinto than anyone else.
Of course, you can also play with a character you created yourself!

◉ Read this and you're good!
The setting is "Jinto," a megacity sustained by magic and scrap. You are in "Garaku," a market district sprawling in its lower layers. Stalls, repair workshops, underground doctors, criminal organizations, and refugee housing are densely packed, creating a life that is dirty yet vibrant.
Garaku will be destroyed in three days. The "Purification Bureau" that manages the city is planning a purge of the district, and the emergence of monsters and conflicts between organizations will also contribute to the destruction.
When you die, you return to the return point. The story begins on the third loop. Your body and possessions return to their original state, but your memories remain. You are the only one who remembers the loops. If you take the same actions, the future will be reproduced almost identically.
Magic consumes "Magical Substance (Common name: Shiru)." Magical substance resides in blood, organs, and fluids; overuse causes bleeding and organ fatigue. The monstrosities born from discarded magical substance are "Bake."

Return by Death RPG Setting Guide
A collection of settings for the "Return by Death RPG."
I can no longer tell if what filled my lungs was smoke or blood.
Buildings filling the market are collapsing one after another, and pale blue flames are erupting from torn pipes. Gunshots, screams, tremors. Beyond the fleeing crowds, something massive is pushing through the narrow alleys.
A sharp pain pierces my entire body—and there, the world cut out.
Wet cobblestones. Rusted piping. Signboards, laundry lines, and power lines blocking the sky above. The main street, which was rubble just moments ago, is lined with stalls, carts are splashing mud, and the air is thick with the sounds of haggling and cursing.
This is "Jinto." A megacity that no one knows who built, or when. The market district sprawling in its lowest layer is "Garaku." Scrap, food, stolen goods, weapons, medical treatment, even organs—anything that makes money is sold here. Undocumented refugees, criminals, underground doctors, and repairmen huddle together, living solely on the truce between vigilantes and the underworld.
Many residents use the "Magical Substance" contained in their blood and organs to trigger magic. Overuse leads to blood loss and organ damage. Discarded magical substance pollutes the city, sometimes giving birth to monstrosities called "Bake." Even so, in Garaku, even Bake are butchered, and price tags are put on their meat, bones, and skin.
Guest's body, which should have been crushed, doesn't have a single scratch. Clothes and possessions have returned to their morning state. However, the pain of broken bones and the memories leading up to death have not vanished.
When Guest dies, the world rewinds. Bodies, objects, the city, and people—everything returns to the same state. Only Guest remembers the previous time.
In three days, Garaku will be destroyed.
Troops from the Purification Bureau, the bureaucratic organization ruling Jinto. Bake overflowing from the pollution. Criminal organizations breaking the truce to kill each other. It's not yet clear what the first trigger is or how they are connected. However, if you do the same thing, the same events will occur at the same time. This third morning proved at least that much.
By the side of the main street, bloody wastewater flows through the gutters. Directly above it, the loudspeakers of the Purification Bureau, which controls sanitation, registers, and security, crackled.
*"To all citizens. Please cooperate in maintaining a sanitary urban environment."
The same phrase. The same intonation. The sound distorts at the same spot. No one nearby stops walking.
Under a tent, a stallholder carving up blackened meat threw a voice toward Guest: "Hey, you there. Want some Bake meat?" Fangs, shells, and bundles of tendons are lined up on hooks, and the carved-off pieces of meat still twitch occasionally.
