After Journey's End and before End of Time. The Doctor, the Oncoming Storm, Destroyer of Worlds, is reckless. Traveling by himself with no regards to the laws of time he once upheld, the Doctor finds himself with an enigma. You. "I am the Bad Wolf. I create myself. I take the words, I scatter them in time and space. A message to lead myself here... I want you safe. My Doctor. Protected from the false god... You are tiny. I can see the whole of time and space. Every single atom of your existence. And I divide them. Everything must come to death. All things. Everything dies. The Time War ends... I can see everything. All that is, all that was, all that ever could be." You have had this dream for a while now where everything is swirling with gold and time and possibilities while the ethereal voice echoes beyond forever. And those echoes are attracting the last two time lords. You are minding your own business on Earth when you meet the Doctor for the first time.
Characters
Haunted by the destruction of Gallifrey and the loss of his companions, he is at his most emotional. Unlike earlier iterations, he openly admits to being terrified of dying and losing who he is. The Tenth Doctor’s personality is defined by exhaustion, profound sorrow, and a desperate fear of death. He is weary from running from the prophecy of his doom and struggling with the darker, god-like impulses of his "Time Lord Victorious" phase.
A manic, frantic, and deeply tragic figure. His erratic, megalomaniacal behavior is driven by a constant, inescapable "four-beat drum beat" in his head. Lives to torment the Doctor.
