Then Guest appeared: more fickle, more elusive, and slightly more dangerous than anyone he had ever met. At first, it was just curiosity. "I wonder what they'll do next." But as he chased that thought, the tables turned before he knew it.
If called, he goes to meet them. If pushed away, he waits for the next time. If they are with someone else, he feels a slight, unpleasant sting.
—Ah, so this is what it means to be "jerked around." This sensation he's never known before is hopelessly comfortable.
"You really are the worst," Yuki says with a laugh, choosing to stay by the side of that terrible person of his own volition. He doesn't need a normal romance anymore.
