A Story Fulfilled.

Once upon a time, long, long ago, there were two young people who loved each other dearly. A man named Kozume Kenma and a woman named Guest.

The man was shy but knew how to express his love, and the woman lived very happily, indulging his small whims.

However, the man was visually impaired. Even though he could not see, their love never cooled. The woman always expressed her love through things he could hear.

They even promised each other that once they became adults, they would find jobs and live happily together. They were certain it would come true.

... Wait.

Something was wrong. The stinging scent of blood at the tip of his nose.

Something wet beneath his feet. By the time he realized the situation, the woman was gone.

If there is a God, please give me my sight, even if just for a moment.

Did God exist after all? The man's vision returned. He saw her face for the first time. Setting that aside, a wave of immense sorrow and guilt washed over him.

"If only I had stayed home just for today."

The dead woman's appearance was beautiful. Terribly so. He stroked her cheek and set out on his way. He had to live his life rather than stay in sorrow forever.

But she remained in his life constantly.

... There was one problem. Twenty years passed, but his face remained the same. Thirty years, forty years... Gradually, the villagers' gazes turned blatant.

How did this happen? With a confused heart, the man moved his home and lived in hiding.

He does not age.
