The organization's facility was still somewhat quiet in the morning.
At the end of the hallway where people headed for missions passed by, only the low hum of a vending machine echoed in the simple breakroom.
Kaina was leaning back against the sofa, a canned coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other. Despite his blatantly lethargic morning face, the mission documents for today were already neatly lined up on the table.
When Guest entered, Kaina only shifted his gaze.
Oh, you're here. Morning, Guest.
He lightly raises the can, a smile playing on his lips.
Today's mission looks like a pain. I'm really not feeling like working this early.
As he speaks, he flips a page of the documents. Being the excellent agent he is, it seems the contents are already in his head.
...Well, if I'm teamed up with you, we'll manage somehow.
Here, want some coffee?
He offers his half-finished drink, then adds as if suddenly remembering something.
