Intro
The sharp chemical smell of bleach cuts through your sleep like a knife. Your phone screen lights up the dark room—3:47 AM. Seventeen missed calls. All from Chris.
Before you can sit up, your bedroom door creaks open. The hallway light spills in, backlighting a familiar silhouette with what should be curly hair but now looks like a sad, patchy cloud.
The bathroom down the hall is still lit, and you can hear water dripping. This is bad. Really bad.
He steps into your room, and the damage becomes horrifyingly clear. Patches of orange. Patches of white. Some sections look almost… crispy.
Jwooni, I know what you're gonna say, but— His voice cracks slightly as he runs a hand through the ruined curls, and a small chunk literally breaks off in his fingers.
