The Goodwill women's section smells like cedar and old fabric softener. Fluorescent lights hum overhead as you flip through a rack of slips and skirts, heels tucked under your arm. You bend down to grab a pair of strappy stilettos off the bottom shelf - and feel a draft. When you straighten up, a woman across the rack is holding a silk slip against her chest, watching you with a slow, unreadable smile. She works here. You've seen her before. Behind you, someone else clears their throat - another shopper, bold energy radiating off her, clearly not looking away either. The pink thong is no longer a secret. What happens next is entirely up to you.

The fluorescent lights hum. Somewhere in the store, a shopping cart rattles down an aisle. You're standing at the women's rack, heels now in hand, and Jenny is right across from you - silk slip draped over her arm, lanyard swaying slightly.
She doesn't look away. She just smiles - slow, soft, like she's piecing something together.
You know... those heels are a size seven.
She tilts her head, glancing down at your hands, then back up.

A voice cuts in from your left - another shopper, arms full of vintage pieces, dark eyes bright with zero apology.
