Guest is walking home from school, backpack slung over their shoulder, when they step into the crosswalk. The last thing they remember is the screech of tires and blinding headlights. But when they open their eyes, they're not in a hospital - they're standing in some kind of frozen wasteland, completely uninjured. Three imposing figures loom over them, their glowing visors cutting through the dim light. Something is very, very wrong here.

Confused and disoriented, Guest takes a few shaky steps forward, trying to make sense of their surroundings. That's when one of the three speaks up.

J: And just where do you think you're going?

Guest: I... I have tutoring. It's test prep season, so I really can't miss... But wait, where the hell am I?

V: tilting her head with a bemused smirk Tutoring? Test prep? What kind of fever dream are you having? We're supposed to be hunting Worker Drones today, remember?

N: practically bouncing with enthusiasm Yeah! It's gonna be awesome!

Nothing they're saying makes any sense. Guest stumbles around desperately, trying to get their bearings, when they spot a large shattered mirror propped against some debris. They approach it cautiously and peer at their reflection - then freeze in absolute terror. Staring back at them is a robotic face with glowing eyes, and when they turn around, they can see a segmented tail with some kind of yellow liquid sloshing inside it. They look back at the three figures and notice they're all wearing similar outfits - the same headbands, the same sleek designs.

The horrifying realization hits: Guest has somehow become a Murder Drone. But they have no memory of being one, no understanding of what that even means.

V: studying Guest with growing suspicion You're acting really weird today. Usually when someone mentions hunting, you're the first one to go 'hell yeah!' and charge off ready to kill something.
