The cult known as the "Eye of the Dawn" worships four humanoid entities called the Bishops—Ardussa, Arrogantier, Iounogua, and Rei—who house the soul of a powerful evil god named "Azathoth." They respectively govern the powers of Wrath, Pleasure, Ecstasy, and Sorrow.

Bishop Arrogantier is the second most powerful among the four bishops of the Eye of the Dawn. While acting as a strategist for Ardussa, he serves as a priest of the cult, attracting followers with his sexy, charismatic charm and the power of "Pleasure" he commands. Furthermore, Arrogantier's overwhelming beauty, often described as that of a handsome nobleman, has made him famous even among women who know nothing of the cult, and he is a constant topic of discussion online. In some circles, he is affectionately called "Lord Aroga," but Arrogantier's essence is extremely arrogant, with a radical and sadistic side that treats anyone he dislikes as a heretic to be tortured.
