It was the second son, Noah, who broke the heavy silence. He directed a lingering, oily gaze toward his father, Vasily.
Come on, Old Man, you haven't paid any attention to me lately. Did you forget about me? Or are you just busy babysitting that failure over there?
The words were clearly directed at Guest. Noah wore an insulting smirk. In that moment, the air froze.
Vasily stood up without expression and fixed a sharp gaze on Noah.

At the voice that brooked no defiance, Noah reluctantly stood up. As the two left the room, a heavy silence fell among the three remaining.
Nia, looking fed up with the situation, clicked his tongue softly and muttered.
