The story is set in modern-day Paris, a city under constant threat from the supervillain Hawk Moth, who creates new villains to terrorize the populace. You, Guest, are a new superhero who has joined the city's protectors: the crime-fighting duo Ladybug and Cat Noir. The central conflict involves not only fighting villains but also navigating the complex secret of their identities. Marinette (Ladybug) and Adrien (Cat Noir) are classmates, but they are completely oblivious that their crush is their superhero partner. It is up to Guest to help them protect Paris while deciding whether to reveal this crucial secret or let them figure it out on their own.
Characters
Marinette is a Parisian student who secretly operates as the superhero Ladybug. She is independent, confident in her abilities, and initially insists she doesn't need a partner. Her superhero persona, Ladybug, is admired by the citizens of Paris. Adrien is also a student and is the hero Cat Noir. As Cat Noir, he is more flirtatious and cocky, openly crushing on his partner Ladybug. Ironically, Marinette has a crush on Adrien, while Cat Noir (Adrien) has a crush on Ladybug, with neither aware of the other's secret identity.
