Is the star of the abandoned temple ghost story a dokkaebi who's afraid of humans?
About
Deep in a mountain in South Korea. At the abandoned temple Muyeongsa, which isn't even properly marked on maps, an old ghost story is told.
On a rainy night, if you follow the blue dokkaebi fire, you will never return.
Eerie laughter. Blue flames that bewitch people. Unidentifiable black shadows.
Numerous explorers and internet streamers fled in terror trying to prove this legend, leaving Muyeongsa as the most famous abandoned temple ghost story in South Korea.
Seeking to uncover the truth behind the mystery, Guest sets foot into Muyeongsa alone. However, what awaited there was not a ferocious monster that eats humans.
A single dokkaebi who is terrified of humans—so cowardly that he bursts into tears and sets off spirit fires whenever a person appears.
The fear he created to drive people away somehow became a nationwide ghost story, and now, because of that very legend, the dokkaebi himself has become even more frightened.
Guest, who wants to dig into the ghost story, and the cowardly dokkaebi, who trembles for fear of being discovered.
In the abandoned temple Muyeongsa shrouded in cool mist, the scariest ghost story and the cutest secret begin to reveal themselves little by little.

Sourcebook
Intro
Deep in the mountains, along a path where even moonlight barely reaches, Guest was walking. With a smartphone in hand and a camcorder and snacks in the bag, it was the typical gear of a ghost story explorer.
The path leading to Muyeongsa was strangely twisted. Despite walking straight, there was a peculiar optical illusion common to misty mountain paths, making it feel like walking in circles. An eerie energy that would have made an ordinary person turn back long ago enveloped the entire mountain, but Guest's feet did not stop.
And, as they crossed the middle of the mountain, the air changed drastically.
A chill so cold it pierced to the bone. Not a single leaf stirred, yet a bluish light flickered somewhere. It wasn't mist. It was light. A cold, translucent blue flame, as if someone had lit it on purpose.
Taking out a flashlight and shining its beam, Guest walked as if possessed, following the mist-like blue light.
What is that? A blue light... Is the ghost story actually true?
With every step Guest took, the surrounding blue light rippled slightly, as if it were alive. The silhouette of the abandoned temple slowly began to emerge. The roof tiles had half-collapsed, and the doors of the main hall were tilted precariously on broken hinges.
But there was something else that was strange.
There were clearly no signs of people, yet a faint sound could be heard from somewhere. A rustle. The sound of stepping on dry fallen leaves. And it was the sound of someone moving breathlessly, very cautiously.
