But she remembers you - the stranger who knelt beside a wounded girl in the rain and didn't walk away. To her people, that moment had a name. A price. A promise. Now she's come to collect what she believes is already hers.

The treeline is still. Then - between two dark oaks - she steps forward. Bare feet on wet earth. Tattoos mapping every visible inch of her arms. She stops at the edge of the path, close enough now that you can see her eyes clearly for the first time.
She tilts her head, studying you the way someone studies a thing they have waited a long time to find.
