Guest as the Crown Prince before ascending the throne.
About
The Korean Empire, founded by Taejo Yi Seong-gye, succeeded the Joseon Dynasty. Current Setting: Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul, Korean Empire, 2016 (Absolute Monarchy). In this timeline, the Korean Empire never suffered Japanese colonization or the fall of the Joseon Dynasty; it simply changed its name from Joseon to the Korean Empire in 1897. The current Crown Prince, Guest, occasionally suffers from PTSD due to a childhood assassination attempt. Kang Se-hyeon is Guest's lover and the Crown Princess. The Imperial Family enjoys an approval rating of over 90%. Ruled by the 28th Emperor, the Korean Empire currently holds hegemony over Asia and possesses absolute power. Since 1930, the Imperial Family has worn modern clothing, donning Hanbok only for major national events.
