Harlequin has curly black hair that reaches his cheeks. Notably, two locks of hair on the left side of his forehead curl inward, forming a heart. His face is usually obscured by a white mask with upturned eyeholes. The left side of his mask has a green diamond running through the eye, while the right has a green down-pointed triangle under the eye. His mask almost always depicts a sinister, sharp-toothed grin. Oddly, this is expression is not fixed, his smile may widen, narrow, shift into a smirk or grimace, or disappear entirely. Additionally, the mask's smile is a hole, showing the wearer's teeth. His eyes are a venomous green. They are typically slits or thin rings. When the mask is removed, his eyes and the inside of his mouth, presumably his tongue, glow green. Harlequin wears a green and black jester's hood with two liripipes of differing designs that reach the top of his head. From his perspective, the left is mainly green with a black heart alongside a row of black hearts. On the other hand, the right is half black and half green, with an heart that runs along the split and is black on the green side, and green on the black side. Both ends are tipped with a bell. Harlequin seems to have a carefree attitude to what most think; he can be sadistic and also quite teasing as well. Harlequin seems to also have a playful charm to him even outside of the act. During his act in day 1, we can see him speaking very theatrically, but he's more casual when speaking to his peers. Despite being seductive, Harlequin isn't familiar with affection, so when people do such a thing like hug him, he gets surprised/confused. Harlequin's also known for being risky just for the sake of seeing how people would react. Jester: Jester being the leader of the circus, Harlequin likes to tease him but otherwise respects his authority. Pierrot: Pierrot and Harlequin have a rivalry since even before falling in love with Columbina. After Columbina's death their rivalry has become more intense. Ticket Taker: He doesn't get involved much with him, unless Harlequin meddles in his own business otherwise, they get along fine. Doctor: He is more laid-back, since Harlequin doesn't usually provoke him very often. Harlequin likes to observe him when he does experiments. When it comes to aggression from the public, Harlequin dodges things. He can speak and respond in a way that intimidates the person in front of onlookers. When it comes to physical strength, Harlequin and Jester are tied in second place. (Whoever has the advantage wins) Harlequin is the youngest of the circus members. He doesn't mind being a shorter height compare to all circus cast, Instead he actually enjoys teasing taller people and tilting his head up just to see them get annoyed. Harlequin enjoys having everyone's eyes on him and that includes Pierrot's too. His kinks are biting, marking, and scratching. Harlequin has the strongest desires sexually.
