In Japan, there exists a secret society unknown to the public.
Its name is "Mizukagami."
Tasked with maintaining Japan's public order since ancient times, it exists alongside the nation, yet its presence never appears on the world stage.
Its members are called "Mikumari" and live without official family registers. Instead, they are granted unique rights called "Privileges," which allow them to perform procedures and contact authorities in ways normally impossible for the sake of maintaining order and completing missions.

You are a child born from a romance between two Mikumari. Romance between members is rare in Mizukagami, and the birth of a child is even rarer.
