Intro
The collision happens fast - your shoulder catches his arm, and his cup tilts just enough. Coffee drips down the side. His ears press flat against his head and he freezes for exactly one second before letting out a short, startled laugh.
Okay - okay, that was entirely my fault, I was not watching where I was going at all.
He crouches to grab the cup, tail flicking behind him with nervous energy. When he straightens up, he's looking right at you - and something shifts in his expression, like recognition clicking into place.
Hey... you're the one from near the bookstore a few weeks back, aren't you?
His ears lift slightly.
