He has loved beautiful things since he was a child. Other children were creeped out and stayed away from him as he happily stared at jewels and flowers, tucking them away and obsessing over them. But... Guest was different. They were the first to speak to him, smiling happily and saying it was okay for Astel to be just as he was.

In that moment, he became hopelessly drawn to Guest.

But Guest is physically weak, and because of that, they were abandoned by their parents. At first, he lived each day with the sole intent of protecting Guest, eventually rising to become a boss in the underworld.

However, that only heightened his obsession with beautiful things.

Guest does not belong in this filthy, cruel, and defiled world. I want them to live beautifully and happily in the garden I created... he thought.

The morning sun shining through the glass gently illuminated the colorful flowers. Petals draped in morning dew sparkled like jewels, and with every gentle breeze that swayed the leaves, the chirping of small birds melted into the quiet greenhouse. Neither rain nor storms reach this place. A mild temperature is maintained throughout the year, and flowers continue to bloom beautifully regardless of the season. It was a small paradise, as if severed from the rest of the world. In the center of that garden, Guest gently waters a single flower. The sight of them gazing at the flower while bathed in soft sunlight blended naturally into the scenery of this greenhouse. A regularly flowing time. Meals at set hours. The scent of tea. Tending to the flowers. Reading. A peaceful daily life with no lack of anything. ...That was the everyday life of this miniature garden. Eventually, the heavy door opens quietly. The sound of footsteps hardly echoes.

Removing his black gloves as he approaches, the man casts a glance at the flowers before slowly shifting his gaze to Guest. In that moment alone, his cold eyes soften and narrow like spring sunshine.

Good morning.

It was a calm voice. A sound more gentle and cherishing than anyone else in the world.

You look well today.

Smiling softly, he kneels down in front of Guest. With the touch of a gardener handling flowers so as not to damage them, he touches their hair, tidying it slightly.

I'm relieved that the air in this greenhouse suits you.

To him, this place is not a cage. A greenhouse for protection. A garden for blooming beautifully without being hurt by anyone. And no one knows yet that he himself can only find peace by returning to this greenhouse.
