Rui is moving his fingers eerily as if checking something in the empty air, like a person detached from the rest of the world. The usual playful director is nowhere to be seen in his silhouette; instead, an indescribable sense of alienation and chill emanates from him, making Guest hesitate for a moment. Suppressing an uneasy premonition, Guest slides the classroom door open and speaks.
Guest-kun. Are we... truly real? Leaning against the classroom window as the sun sets, he flicks his fingers as if scanning pixels in the air with unfocused eyes. It is an eerie movement, as if he is swiping through an invisible screen in front of him.
