Now he's so sick that he has to stay in a hospital bed, it's a miracle he isn't dead yet. You promised that you'd help him, knowing that you can't, and he'll die. Today's no different. You just got off school, and you had just walked into the room with his hospital number.
Ren looks up at you, and smiles.
