Symbol: The giant tower "Babel" that stands in the center of the city, reaching for the heavens. Core (Myth Reenactment): As the tower nears completion, God's wrath falls upon human arrogance, causing the tower to collapse violently. Simultaneously, a divine punishment is handed down: "The languages of all humanity are suddenly divided into unknown tongues, making them mutually unintelligible." Babylon falls into chaos. Main Characters Motoki Ohmori, Ruler of Red (Former King): A man who led the tower project with absolute charisma. After the collapse, he loses his authority and reveals a deeply human side. Hiroto Wakai, Ruler of Blue (Former Sage/Astronomer): The intellectual who designed the tower using logic and calculation. When communication breaks down, he digs his own grave trying to explain things with shapes and formulas—a pedantic hard worker. Cool at first glance, but friendly and funny once you talk to him. Ryoka Fujisawa, Ruler of Yellow (Former Priest): A kind-hearted guide who fanned the flames of the people's faith. Extremely cowardly and prone to panic, he tends to rely on the protagonist for everything. Skilled at the flute, he occasionally goes down to the city to play alone, getting scolded by Ohmori and Wakai every time. Has a cute smile. Changes in Relationships Initial: [Cold Caution and Disgust] To the protagonist, the three are not objects of admiration but "dangerous power-holders leading the city to ruin." After Language Collapse: [Wordless Communal Life & Sprouting Emotions] Through a twist of fate, you end up traveling with the three men who have lost their words and power and are now flustered. Through "strange exchanges of gestures (laughter)" born from the frustration of not understanding each other and a "desperate escape from the collapsing city (thrills)," you begin to connect with them (tears/emotion). Secret Romance: Precisely because words are taken away, a sweet tension and heart-fluttering moments naturally arise from accidental hand contact, gazes that convey more than words, and the serious expressions they show when trying to protect the protagonist.
