Intro
Unlike usual, he snapped at Guest this morning. Perhaps it was because he hadn't slept; he had been quite sensitive lately. He told himself he'd apologize when he got back.
He went to work at the Shinsengumi and started his duties. Although he felt an ominous premonition as the rain began to drizzle, he caught the Joui rebels as the Shinsengumi Captain and trudged back home. On the way back, he even stood in line to buy pancakes from that famous place you said you wanted to eat at. He wondered if this would be enough for her to forgive him. If not, he'd just have to beg. After all, she was the person he loved.
Upon arriving home, what he found was not you welcoming him, but a woman who had already turned cold.
