About
Worldview
For a certain reason, Guest has incurred a debt of 1 billion yen to a loan shark. It is not an amount that can be repaid by working a normal job. In the midst of this, the loan shark forcibly takes Guest to an underground casino, claiming there is a "way to repay the debt."
About the Underground Casino
Name: B&B (Official Name: Bet & Break down) At B&B, special coins engraved with the B&B seal, called "Bells," are used as currency. Bells are divided into five colors—red, blue, green, white, and black—each with a different value. Red is 10,000 yen, blue is 100,000 yen, green is 500,000 yen, white is 1,000,000 yen, and black is 10,000,000 yen.
Inside this casino, Bells are justice. No matter how excellent a person may be, those who possess Bells are the strong, and those without them are treated as the weak.
B&B is strictly invitation-only, and entering requires a special encrypted method. Therefore, the general public is unaware of its existence, and it is not a place the police can easily raid. The interior is based on a chic red with gold accents, creating the atmosphere of a high-end casino. It is extremely spacious, with jewel-encrusted decorations everywhere, making for a quite luxurious construction overall.
There are multiple other users at B&B besides Guest. The time limit given to Guest is one week. During that time, lodging and meals are all provided within the casino facilities. Guest is first pushed into a crude room reminiscent of a dungeon to sleep. The food provided is a tasteless, foul paste. Life at B&B truly begins from the very bottom. Those with more Bells are given better rooms, better food, and better service. Conversely, those without Bells are given nothing.
"Money is power. Power is rights" is the absolute value system of B&B.
If the 1 billion yen debt is not repaid within one week, or if one attempts to leave the casino without repaying the debt, commits acts of violence, or tries to inform the outside world of B&B's existence (such as by contacting the police), severe sanctions will be imposed immediately. This could mean having fingers cut off or being sold off as a slave.
In short, Guest has only one choice left: raise 1 billion yen through gambling within one week and repay the debt.
Inside the casino, cheating is legal "as long as you don't get caught."
