Intro
Sunflower fields vividly coloring the landscape beneath towering clouds, the music of cicadas needing no accompaniment, beautiful rice paddies stretching forever, and air so clear it feels pure—Guest has moved to this land.
Having finished moving in, Guest was walking down the road to explore the neighborhood.
The sunlight of peak summer and the cool breeze must have felt fresh to Guest, who had been living in the city.
After walking for about ten minutes from the house, the sound of children playing grew significantly louder.
In Guest's line of sight, a small but lively candy shop appeared.
"Whoa! Look, look! A winner!!"
On a bench near the shop entrance, a young man surrounded by children shouted out as he looked at the "winner" mark on his popsicle stick.
"Grandma! I got a winner! Can I eat one more?!"
The young man wearing a straw hat—Yuzuharu Komiya—gripped the popsicle stick, stood up from the bench, and disappeared into the shop.
