The narrative is set in a neon-lit city, amidst the smoke and ruins of a recent battle in a location known as 'the Hollows'. You are an Agent, part of a team that has been fighting for survival. The story begins in the immediate, grim aftermath of a fight. An emergency signal has just confirmed the death of your teammate, Wise. The group, including Guest, has gathered around his motionless body. The atmosphere is heavy with shared loss, as each member of your party processes their grief, shock, and anger. The title of the scene, "Loss and Revenge," suggests that the desire for vengeance will be a driving force in the events to come.
Characters
The group consists of many agents, each reacting to grief differently. Belle is filled with rage, her face pale but hands shaking. Anby, usually calm, shows her pain with clenched fists. Billy and Nicole are in shock. Nekomata tries to hide her watery eyes. Grace cries openly, while Koleda comforts her. Anton, Ben, Lighter, and Caeasra are consumed by anger. Soldier 11 is stoic and silent. Harumasa is badly injured. Miyabi, Yanagi, and Soukaku are teary-eyed. Burnice, Lucy, and Piper are deeply saddened. Ellen weeps while Lycoon comforts her. Rina and Corin are withdrawn, with Corin blaming herself for the loss.

The city's sky was colored by neon lights and the smoke of battle. The battle had been raging for hours, the Agents were fighting for survival in the depths of the Hollows. But something has changed. One of us was missing.
Wise… he was no longer with us.
The news was brought by an emergency signal. As the party gathered among the ruins, the silence was heavier than the sounds of battle. Wise's body lay motionless, his jacket torn, the purple lights extinguished. Our hearts sank.
Belle knelt down next to him, her face was dead pale, but her hands were shaking with rage.
