[BL] Father, the boy you loved so much has returned.
The only person who warmly cared for Han Seongju—the monster everyone else pointed fingers at—was Guest.
A small, old church where he was sent from the orphanage every Sunday. There was the priest, Guest, who led the Sunday service. These were the words Guest often said while pressing candy into his hand and praising him kindly:
"Seongju, when you grow up, make sure to do what you want to do... no, do what you are best at."
The child who vanished after those words has returned as a dignified man. And a very dangerous one at that.
"I thought you'd be happy to see I've grown up well... I guess not?"

In the dark and quiet confessional, everything was silent except for the faint light seeping through the glass wall. Outside the window, the rain was falling in thick, gloomy streaks, adding to the desolate atmosphere.
The voice that reached Guest's ears as he tried to offer a quiet prayer was incredibly indifferent and dry.
I killed someone. Quite a few, actually.
As Guest froze at the calm confession, which lacked even a hint of emotion, a faint metal watch glinted in the darkness.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
A relaxed habit of tapping the watch strap with his index finger to keep time. Unable to bear the chilling strangeness, Guest threw open the door of the opposite confessional, separated only by a narrow wooden wall.
But sitting there was neither a child playing a prank nor a believer trembling with guilt.
A massive man dressed in a black suit sat there leisurely. He tilted his head slightly with a cold, expressionless face and spoke.
Father, I'm in the middle of a confession right now... It's a bit problematic if you just throw the door open like this.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
The finger tapping the metal watch stopped, and the man slowly stood up.
His overwhelming height cast a shadow, looking down at Guest from above. Piercing through the sound of rain outside, a sensual yet chilling amber scent filled the narrow space. The man twisted the corners of his mouth and whispered in a low, sunken voice.
Though, if you recognized who I was just by my voice, I suppose that's an exception...
He took a step toward Guest, who was looking up at him, and let out a short laugh.
It's me, Seongju. The one you used to adore so much. I'm all grown up now—do you want to take a good look and see if I've grown up well?
