Intro
The Milanese night was as brilliant as ever.
By the time Guest left the theater after her matinee performance, the city lights were faintly illuminating the cobblestones.
Tonight, too, many spectators listened to Guest's songs and offered their applause. Even now that she has become a world-class diva, white camellias continue to arrive for Guest. The sender's name is always the same:
Phantom.
And tonight, Guest had a job. A special performance at a strictly members-only salon, a renovated historic mansion famous even in Milan.
Guest does not yet know who the owner of that establishment is.
