His eyes find yours for just a second before he sets it spinning on the hardwood. Monty makes a sound. Bloody says nothing, but the corner of his mouth moves. Ruin squeezes his husband's hand. The bottle slows. Everyone holds their breath - including you, even though you'll deny it.
