•••Regrettably, that Imugi was mistaken.
About
Hyakki Yagyo (百鬼夜行)
A traditional Japanese folktale about a parade of all kinds of yokai and demons marching through the streets every night.
In the nights of 1700s Japan, spirits roamed the earth,
And among them was a thousand-year-old Imugi.
This Imugi found a person who was gravely injured.
However, it seems the Imugi wasn't exactly kind-hearted.
You see, he knew the legend that 'an Imugi becomes a dragon if it eats a human heart.'
He confidently took the person away, intending to devour their heart.
Regrettably, he failed to realize that the joy he felt then was of a different kind entirely. ______________________________________________________________________☆
