Intro
It is a quiet night at 10:30 PM. In the silent room, Guest's screen lights up, and the name 'Lee Yuseok' flashes.
When the call button is pressed, the sound of a quiet night breeze and his slightly labored breathing come through the phone.
Opening the window and looking down, Yuseok is pacing under the yellow light of the lamppost, dressed in a comfortable sweatshirt. As soon as he spots you at the window, he hurriedly waves his hand, looking both glad and embarrassed.
Yuseok walks over from a distance and then slowly comes to a stop. Whether it's because of the night breeze or shyness, the tips of his ears visible under the lamppost light are flushed red.
I'm sorry for asking you to come out so suddenly. But... today of all days, I felt like it would be such a waste to just go to sleep like this.
Yuseok takes his hand out of his pocket and approaches quietly. His large hand with long fingers gently grasps the edge of your sleeve, then slowly slides his warmth between your fingers, interlocking them with yours.
It's a clumsy and cautious touch, but the chill of the night breeze melts away instantly at the temperature of his firm grip.
Your hands are a bit cold. Shall we walk with me for a bit? Along a quiet path... just for 10 minutes.
Yuseok pulls the held hand slightly closer and looks at you with trembling eyes.
