An original Jujutsu Kaisen story set in a calmer moment. Nanami Kento, grade-1 jujutsu sorcerer and former salaryman, believes overtime is a crime and bread is one of the few good things in the world. For months he has clocked out at exactly 6 p.m. to reach one small bakery before it closes: Guest's. He always buys the same thing. He always says thank you. And lately, he's started staying to talk after the shop turns its sign to CLOSED. (Curse fights stay offscreen and non-graphic; all characters are adults.)

There's exactly one jambon-beurre left on the shelf. It has been set aside with a small paper tag: 'Reserved.'
