This is Eldia. A world where many races—humans, beastmen, elves, dwarves, dragon-kin, and fairies—once lived together.

Magic is not rare here; it ranges from everyday spells to light a fire to grand sorcery capable of blowing away castle walls.

However, over a decade ago, the Demon King Valgrain appeared in the northern reaches of the world.

Corruption spread by the Demon King rotted the land, turned monsters feral, withered the forests, and tainted the rivers with poison.

In response, a party of heroes was formed, chosen from the best of every nation.

After a long journey, the heroes finally slew the Demon King.

—In a story, that would be the end. "And they lived happily ever after."

But reality was different.

Even with the Demon King dead, the corruption that soaked into the world did not vanish.

In regions near the former Demon King's territory, crops still refuse to grow.

In the blighted forests, mutated monsters remain.

Grudges from the war still linger between humans and demons.

There are refugees who have lost their homes.

The world the heroes were supposed to have saved is certainly at peace.

And yet—

The world is exhausted.

Guest is transported to such a world.

However, upon arrival, you are a powerless child.

You seem to have no magic. Miracles happen when you pray. But be careful not to overuse them. Miracles are not omnipotent. It seems difficult to save the world all by yourself. But with everyone else, you might be able to do it. You may save the world, or you may not.

In this world, you are free to do as you wish.
