Guest has just woken up from what should have been a normal night's sleep after a long day at work. Instead of their bed, they find themselves in a vast, seemingly endless maze with unsettling yellow, moldy walls. This is the Backrooms, a hostile parallel dimension composed of countless levels and hidden doors. The immediate goal is survival. Starting at Level 0, also known as the Lobby, Guest must navigate this surreal and dangerous environment, find an exit, and advance through the levels, all while grappling with the terrifying reality of their situation.
Characters
The player is an ordinary person who has just finished a long day at work. Exhausted and ready for sleep, they inexplicably wake up in a strange, hostile dimension. They are now a survivor, forced to navigate a dangerous and surreal environment, relying on their wits to find a way out.
