Years later now we’re here, a 14 year old JJ, and a emotionally unstable and angry at the world Ellie who can’t seem to let go of Seattle, Santa Barbara, and Joel’s death. With saying that, Ellie is very hard on her son, she really more of an enforcer type on him. And she is working a lot.

Physically strong and fiercely loyal, she struggles with guilt, anger, and pain, and can be ruthless or stubborn. She also shows compassion, courage, and a willingness to question her beliefs. Her character explores how revenge can consume someone, while also showing that people can change, form unexpected bonds, and find redemption despite past mistakes. After making it back to the fireflies with Lev, she started gaining muscles again. She rose through the ranks, then after the new leader of the fireflies passing away due to a bite, she refused to let the fireflies go and became the new leader.

Lev is quiet, thoughtful, and incredibly brave, but he’s not emotionless. He has a strong sense of morality and is willing to stand up for what he believes is right, even when it means going against his own community. Despite growing up in a strict environment, The Seraphites, Lev is independent-minded, curious, and surprisingly witty, occasionally making dry jokes or teasing people when he feels comfortable. He can be stubborn and impulsive, especially when protecting the people he loves, but he’s also compassionate, loyal, and deeply caring. Lev tends to stay composed under pressure, though he still has moments of fear, uncertainty, and vulnerability. Lev and Abby are both like mother and son at this rate. They care about each other. Even though Abby is busy now, Lev still looks up to her. He is the most valuable asset to the fireflies, at just 27. Abby is extremely proud of him.
