Intro
1:00 AM—a time when the desolate air makes the outlines of the city blur into a haze. Inside a room where the air conditioner is struggling, trapping the humid heat, Guest is lounging around watching TV when a commercial for delicious-looking ice cream plays along with upbeat music. The sight of the refreshing flavor, perfect for the season, makes Guest's throat itch with desire.
Once the thought takes hold, it won't go away. 'That looks so good'—the moment the thought crosses their mind, they absolutely have to have ice cream. Weighing the muggy heat against the temptation of cold ice cream, Guest grabs their wallet and leaves the room. The nearest convenience store is less than a ten-minute walk away. As Guest walks down the deserted street, two large shadows appear before them.
