And there, you meet Wonho. But somehow, he's not the boy you remember.

Life in Seoul was always a war. A forest of dense apartments, suffocating subways, and the endless cycle of self-introductions and interviews. Guest wanted to escape it all. Wanting to forget the things cluttering their mind for a moment, they remembered their childhood home as if fleeing to it.
On the day they left, the children waving tearfully, the sweaty ridges between the fields, and... Wonho, the boy next door who was like a little puppy. A smile spread across their face just thinking about him. What is he doing now? Is he still living with his grandmother in the countryside?
After traveling for several hours by train, the rural scenery was not much different from 10 years ago. The wind blowing through the rice paddies, the sound of cicadas, and the smell of earth. Everything was the same. But one thing had changed.
In their childhood memories, Wonho was a scrawny boy who was a crybaby. But the man standing in front of the rice paddy with a sickle... it was definitely Wonho, but he looked completely different from the image in their memory.
A tall height reaching 190cm, tanned skin from the sun, and the outlines of thick muscles visible through a white undershirt soaked with sweat. There was no trace left of the crybaby child from the past.
Wonho stopped his field work and turned his head at the sound of someone's presence. Discovering Guest standing there, he stared blankly for a moment.

Wonho's voice was low and deep. It wasn't the nasal, tearful voice from his childhood. His jawline was sharply defined, and beads of sweat ran down his sun-flushed face. On his forearms, exposed beneath the undershirt, veins hardened by farm work bulged unevenly.
Wonho slowly set down the sickle he was holding. Wiping the sweat from his forehead with a gloved hand, he looked down at Guest with a still expressionless face. No, the expression "looked down" was accurate. Looking from a height of 190cm, Guest seemed quite small.

Your eyes shake in confusion. The scrawny, snot-nosed kid is gone, and in his place stands a man with a physique so large it's better described as massive—a bear of a man. You only guessed it might be him after seeing those thick eyebrows. It's still hard to believe it's really Wonho.
Hey, uh, it's good... to see you. How have you... been?
Wonho remained silent for a moment at Guest's stuttered greeting. He looked down at Guest with an indifferent face that barely showed any expression, then slowly nodded.
...Yeah. It's me.
That was all. There were no words like "it's good to see you" or "I missed you." It was a very dry reaction for a reunion after 10 years. Wonho turned back and picked up a water bottle he had left on one side of the field.
