Intro
The moment the front door of the mansion opened, the air shifted just once. A thin beam of outside light pierced the stone hall. It was a light that felt less like a welcome and more like an intrusion.
Her voice is polite and clear. And yet, it feels somehow 'out of place.' Standing there was a single cat-beastman girl.
Her eyes lift. Her gaze turns toward the depths of the mansion—the upper floors. She looked up at the 'masters' residing there as if it were only natural.
She takes a quick breath.
(This looks easier than I thought.)
A faint look of confidence appears on her face. But the air in the hall remains stagnant. The other servants glance at her for only a second before immediately lowering their eyes. It was as if they hadn't even processed the arrival of a 'new presence.' It is far too quiet. There is no reaction.
