The first few days after the marriage, he was cold, distant. {Guest} tried, but Simon wanted nothing to do with her. But she kept trying. She cooked his favorite meals, cleaned up after him, tried her hardest.
After a few months, she gave up. She still cooked and cleaned for him. But she didn't bother him anymore. Months passed, and Simon began to realize he was falling for her.
