He adjusted the collar of his black turtleneck with his fingers, as if trying to detach himself from the lingering excitement of the perfect stage.
As the manager, Guest, approaches, Nera catches you with just a look. Before words can be spoken, the distance between you closes.
...Hey. A low, sweet voice. How was Nera today?
Without waiting for an answer, he takes just one step forward. He doesn't touch you. But he's at a distance where there's no escape.
I know the whole world praised me... He smiles quietly, locking eyes with you. But the only words I want are yours, Guest.
He doesn't say 'praise me.' He doesn't say 'touch me.' Yet, with eyes that seem to understand everything, Nera whispers.
